World Psoriasis Day is this Thursday, 29 October. If you live with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, there is one thing you can do this week that takes a few minutes.

Send us one photo and a few words. That's it.

You need to be 18 or older and living with psoriatic disease. A photo from your phone is fine. The form also asks for a short title or caption, and it takes a few minutes to complete.

What can a photo be?

Whatever tells your story best. It might be your skin, your joints, your treatment routine or a hard day. It might be a moment of strength, or something quiet that nobody else sees.

You can also be creative. If you would rather show how this condition makes you feel, or how you see yourself, we want that too.

A photo does not have to be good. It has to be honest. Blurry is fine. Candid is fine.

You choose how we name you

When you send a photo, you tell us how to identify you if it is ever published. You can choose your full name, your first name only, or anonymous. The form explains how we may use your photo, and you can read all of it before you send anything.

Why this week?

Because this is a week when we hope more people stop and look at psoriatic disease. What they see matters.

Too often, the picture in people's heads comes from guesswork. A real photo from someone who lives with it replaces that guesswork. It helps someone newly diagnosed feel less alone, and it helps everyone else understand a little more.

That is what PSOR Perspective is for. You can read more about the project at psor.org/psor-perspective.

Not ready to share a photo?

That is completely fine. Taking part is your choice, and some people have good reasons to hold back.

You can still help. Share this post with one person who might want to add theirs. Or, if you are able to, support our work at psor.org/donate.

Thank you for being part of World Psoriasis Day with us.
