We’re pleased to share the launch of our new Information Hub — a dedicated space offering clear, evidence‑based information for people affected by psoriatic disease.

Whether you’re living with psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, supporting someone else, or still exploring symptoms, we know how difficult it can be to find information that is reliable, understandable, and relevant to NHS care. This hub has been created to help address that gap.

Why we created the Information Hub

Many people tell us they feel overwhelmed when searching for information about psoriatic disease. Content can be confusing, overly clinical, or focused on treatments without explaining the wider picture.

We created the Information Hub to:

  • provide clear, patient‑friendly information you can trust,

  • reflect how psoriatic disease is managed in England and Wales,

  • support people at different stages of their journey,

  • and sit alongside — not replace — NHS care and professional advice.

We aim to help people feel more informed, more confident, and less alone.

What you’ll find in the hub

The Information Hub brings together a growing set of resources covering key topics, including:

Understanding psoriatic disease

Clear explanations of how psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis can affect the body.

Recognising symptoms

Information on skin, joint, nail and fatigue symptoms, and when to seek medical advice.

Getting a diagnosis

What to expect from NHS appointments, referrals and assessments in England and Wales.

Treatment options

An overview of the main types of treatments used in NHS care, explained in plain language.

Living well with psoriatic disease

Support with fatigue, wellbeing, work, daily life and long‑term health.

Each resource is written for both patients and caregivers, using accessible language and a supportive tone.

Grounded in evidence and lived experience

All Information Hub content is:

  • informed by NHS guidance and internationally recognised sources,

  • reviewed for clarity and accuracy,

  • shaped by the real questions and concerns we hear from people affected by psoriatic disease.

We’ve focused on explaining what people need to know, without overwhelming detail or unrealistic promises.

Support beyond information

Information is just one part of living with psoriatic disease. Many people also benefit from connecting with others who understand what they’re going through.

Alongside the Information Hub, we continue to offer peer support spaces, where people can share experiences, ask questions, and feel less isolated.

You can explore these options via our Get Support page.

This is just the beginning

The Information Hub will continue to grow over time, with new resources planned on topics such as:

  • managing flares and changes in symptoms,

  • mental health and emotional wellbeing,

  • work, benefits and reasonable adjustments.

We’re committed to building a hub that reflects the realities of living with psoriatic disease — and we welcome feedback on what would be most helpful next.
